Blessings
Psychologically, it feels better today; four days to go doesn't seem so bad. Plus, Dan and Abi have been absolute troopers, never moaning or bickering, even when Dan had to watch the football with me, last night, rather than down the pub with his mates. (Which is, I guess, all the more frustrating as he and I continue to test negative.)
Still, the fact that everything is fine hasn't stopped me from counting my blessings, first and foremost of which is that having Covid hasn't caused any medical complications for Abi. Apart from losing her sense of taste and some tiredness early on, she's been right as rain.
And the other thing that I'm grateful for is being locked down in a nice house, with plenty of room for the three of us, and nice views out the back, both across the Lune valley and down into the garden, which, thanks to the Minx, is a perfect little sanctuary when the walls start to get a bit too much.
