Drizzling when we got up but headed for Braemar anyway. Had a look around but there was less to do than we expected. Anyway so didn’t stay long. Other then a quick stop at a farm shop drove straight back to Edinburgh mostly in the pouring rain. D had meetings and I headed off into town for a browse around the new shopping centre - still drizzling but thought I’d risk it. Bought a new duvet set for the guest room in the sale at JL. Headed back and we got ready for Ds book group at HazelH’s . It was Ms birthday and celebration fir her doctorate- lovely to share that with her. We all admired the new garden - everything growing really well. Back home and straight to bed- journey back to Nottingham tomorrow
