Grey Heron

The young one was straight over when she saw me today. She landed at the more secluded clearing. I noticed that she is quite wary of strangers, which is good, as she wandered further back and hid in the Irises when a man and two children came down the path. 

It will be interesting to see if she is around tomorrow as I heard a Heron call and spotted her flying overhead with the adult as I was making my way home. She was flying in the opposite direction to the other lochs as well.
