Grey Heron

The young one flew to the entrance and got some of her whitebait. They are doing some further work at the other side of the loch and a large lorry which had dropped of a digger was leaving. As it neared the the gate the young one flew off towards the loch. She was standing on the gabion basket at the drainage area waiting for me. I continued feeding her there and she was joined by the older female. She seems ok now feeding beside her. I gave the crows some pollock, even the fledgling ate a bit without it being fed to it.
This afternoon it was only the male who was around but that is becoming a normal.
