Nathaniel and Ella with Harvey

The children have been so good and such fun. Ella didn’t come in till 7am and Nathaniel woke half an hour later. He really struggles to get to sleep - was still awake at 10.15 saying he was really tired but couldn’t sleep.

They had quite a chilled day, helping in the garden (he fell climbing a tree) and Ella made Scotch pancakes to take to Auntie
Cath. They tried to teach us Risk but their rules were a bit different from those we remembered. I’m not keen on world domination games.

They aren’t allowed a pet but Auntie Cath has Harvey so they love him. We are driving the hour home and will tidy up before we have a drink and watch the match. We are tired!
