Today's the day ......................... to get caught

I'd like to reassure you that no animals were hurt in the taking of this picture.

And although I did feel a bit mean, I couldn't resist catching this little wren on camera when it flew into the summerhouse - and then couldn't work out how to get back out again.  It actually seemed quite calm and just perched on the window sill looking wistfully through the glass. I opened the doors wide and gently encouraged it to move in the right direction.

It flew off easily into the wide blue yonder, leaving me feeling very privileged to have seen it at such close quarters ...................
