Bee fest

I grow a lot of flowers for pollinators: lavender, lupins, foxgloves, allium, verbena, echinacea.

But nothing beats a good sunflower in bloom. I've even found bees having a siesta in a sunflower head after a bit of overindulging.

Next month the birds and squirrels will start fighting for what's left of the head!
