Second earlies

I haven't harvested all my first earlies but I thought I'd dig some of the second earlies out to see what they were doing.

Most of the potato plants are really struggling in this heat. I always hesitate to water potatoes, there are so many crops that need water more and it's a precious resource. 

I cooked nearly all of the purple potatoes this evening and they were delicious!
