North Merchiston Cemetery

Our daily walk took us to North Merchiston Cemetery earlier this morning - seemed an appropriate place to stroll around after that terribly disappointing football result last night :-(

Actually, the cemetery is really close to our flat and does contain some significant (it has over 130 military graves) wartime interest - including two soldiers who were awarded the Victoria Cross.

As for that football; well I'm no expert, but that team will only get better - I've thus got 3pm on Sunday 18th December 2022 firmly in the diary ;-)
