Cappadocia Day #3

A very careful, quiet day. The malady that started on Sunday, and mildly ever present yesterday, was noticeably worse this morning and consequently I stayed at the hotel after breakfast while Robin went a-walking.  Not sure if it's dry heat, dehydration related, or some kind of reaction to Friday afternoon's covid vaccination booster - either way, uncomfortable symptoms (including dizziness and nausea) blighted my day. Early afternoon Robin suggested we went for a drive, surrounded as we are by stunning views (extra). Our excursion included refreshment at a lovely leafy cafe in the little town of Mustafa Pasa, a quick tour of some roadside souvenir stalls - we are both aficionados of cheap tourist trinket tat shops - and a photo of the 'three beauties' rocks - a local attraction (extra) before going back to the hotel for more quiet time in the pretty hotel courtyard (extra). Today's main pic is the view from the hotel terrace, bathed in the golden light of sundown.

This evening we have stayed at the hotel, sitting in the courtyard, reading, talking, having a drink and eating salad delivered to us by Sofra restaurant. I do feel a little better, so fingers crossed for tomorrow, especially as it is Robin's birthday.
