Absolutely loving the weather finally feeling summery! We pottered around all morning and did some house jobs, then Matt’s new hair clippers arrived.

The plan was to quickly give him a haircut, then we’d go and spend the afternoon in the park. As soon as we’d decided this, Bill phoned and asked if we wanted to go with them to try and get some lunch somewhere. We walked up the hill to their house to make plans (and see their garden progress, including newly discovered frogs and newts in the pond!) but everywhere we could think to drive to was either shut or fully booked.

In the end we bought a picnic and walked back down the hill to the park after all. After a couple of hours of snacking and badminton we packed up and headed to the Vic, where we were later joined by Paul, Elly and Burly (who made loads of canine friends). Beaut of a bank holiday.
