Fish

This mosaic has appeared on the Water of Leith, near the Bonnington Gormley, in recent weeks/months (I noticed it just under a week ago, but it has probably been there for a while…). Further information, of course, would be much appreciated.

It was probably the Scottish summer today. Even though it looks set fair for a few days, I take nothing for granted. We admired our balcony plants, sat out for our gin, and then had post dinner wine out there. All very pleasant indeed. I’ve popped the pink Campanella in the extras. It really is glorious at present.

Edit: it turns out that it is Helen Miles. That was my first thought, but then I wondered whether it was her style.
