Bit of gardening

Not me. We went to Calke Abbey this morning and the gardens are looking splendid. The walled garden is so well maintained and always seems to have a few volunteers working in it. The vegetable garden looked fabulous with the colourful flowers, veg and lots of lavender. We did a walk out to see a heard of long horn cattle, then around the gardens, and spotted some deer over the fence. Few jobs around the house and quick walk this evening. Ordered a new jacket from a company I have never seen before so hope it’s OK and some drinking glasses as I am down to two from a set of six.
