Sydney Park Toilets

I wish now I’d seen the article in ArchitectureAu before I took this photo, because it had a much better POV. But today’s challenge was circles or rings, so it’s all about the shape.

These were built at least 10 years ago. The nearby kiosk (not pictured) is rectangular, the toilets circular, both have sweeping plywood canopies. The interiors are yellow and open at the top but, like the new ones near the skatepark, have spikes right up to the roof.

For design alone, I feel they deserve more than their 3-star average Google rating.
