Meanwhile back at the polo I thought this groom had a bit of the Poldarks about him. Every picture tells a story, as they say, but this one would give you an inaccurate impression of the match. It wasn't actually 9-0 at this point as the score was just being changed. It was definitely 7-2 at one stage and by the end it was 9-9 and went into extra time. Oh no, we thought, please don't let it go to penalties! However, it was sudden death and was all over in seconds with UAE winning 10-9. Pretty good value for an entry fee of £5!
