Deceptive

Whenever I pass this tree it reminds me of a stag’s head. Recently I’ve been noticing a moorhen perching on it, which jumps off into the river every time I stop to look. Today it turned out to be sitting on a nest and when it jumped off as I approached I could see eggs in the nest. You may just be able to make them out on the ‘stag’s head’.
