Hosta flowers

I arrived back home a couple of days ago from the cottage.   My daughter, son-in-law and their three young children and dog were there as well so it was a very busy time.   So nice to spend time with them. 
Now I'm back home - to a jungle in the back yard and all the things on my to do list that still haven't been done.   I am retired though, so nearly everything can wait until tomorrow, can't it?   
I'm really glad my husband had planted so many hosta plants several years ago.  They don't require a lot of care and always look nice.   There are several different varieties in the yard and most of them are flowering now.   A lot of them are getting too big for their space so I'll have to split some next spring.   Hope some of my neighbours would like to have the extras.
