Gulls

I spent the afternoon with 8yo at two fun science events that were being held on campus. The Time Detectives Archaeology Fun Day saw us mingling with Vikings, reassembling skeletons and digging for artifacts while the National Science and Engineering Week Fun Day had us extracting DNA from kiwi fruit, programming robots and eating liquid nitrogen ice cream. 8yo has developed an enthusiasm for Science, in particular Chemistry, so had a great time.

On the way home we passed these gulls enjoying the mirror pool in City Park.
