Very tall artichokes

On my allotment neighbour’s plot.  I think they look fantastic and dramatic. I spent the morning weeding and tidying, and eating the odd strawberry.
 The extra is a little creature I spotted in the plum tree. The clever app on my phone, called Seek, tells me it’s the caterpillar of a Rusty Tussock Moth - which I’ve never knowingly seen before, and certainly never heard of.  It great how Blip gets you looking more carefully:) It’s an amazing creature, if you look closely it’s got some toothbrush bristles, some tiny batman masks, and amazingly  complex antennae.
