Indian bean tree

Or Catalpa. I had to ask what it is - it’s at my local garden centre, in the car park. The flowers are absolutely wonderful, if you can zoom in at all.  It’s already been cropped so much it’s losing a bit of clarity. I bought a few plants to fill in gaps where things have finished, or where the slugs ate the plant - why was I so silly as  to buy petunias:)
Then I went to an outdoor cafe with a friend I hadn’t seen for a few months, so we enjoyed taking about everything under the sun - in both senses - and suddenly realised it was the afternoon and we’d been there for hours!
