Abersoch
We’ve spent the day in Abersoch today, and went early so we didn’t have any problems parking at the beach. It’s a busy little place, and the car parks aren’t very big!
When Rachel was little, we came to Abersoch a lot and it’s always been a favourite of mine, so it was nice to come back and I was pleased to see that it still had a ‘buzz’.
We wandered along the beach into the village and I was happy to see the beach huts, as I’d been saying to Alan that the one thing Wales lacks is beach huts. There are some huge ones here, and some had storage beneath them, presumably for small boats.
After looking round the shops, we looked for somewhere to have lunch and decided on The Potted Lobster. Fortunately they had space for us, and it didn’t disappoint, the food was lovely. We then went back to the beach and spent the afternoon in the sun. It’s been quite breezy though today, but we’d taken our parasol so we used it as a windbreak.
Back to the little house for the evening, and we’re currently relaxing in the balcony with a bottle of champagne, enjoying the view.
