An Exquisite Day

A gorgeous day here in Calistoga! We did a midday wine tasting and a lovely dinner out. The sky was such a brilliant blue. I went for a wander after dinner tonight and found these Matilija Poppies (Romneya coulteri) glowing in the early evening sun. if you look closely you’ll see a sliver of moon.

And now for a once in a lifetime look, you’ll see, in the extras, a photo of Mr. KG and yours truly at a high altitude vineyard here in Napa Valley. He said it was OK to share, so I leapt at the opportunity. My And, a shot by my friend who’s visiting us here - she’s a photographer. I like this photo of me unabashedly enjoying the wines of the region.
