Friday Walk
Yesterday was cool enough to wear thick gardening gloves, long sleeves & winter leggings to get in amongst various prickly shrubs to remove the brambles which had even more vicious thorns. Today's dramatic change in the weather meant shorts & a sleeveless top for a morning walk in the forest at West Harling. A pleasant walk, but with harsh contrasty sunlight, rubbish for photography, & much too warm to catch insects on the flowers on the edges of the rides.
The main image is self explanatory - something I probably noticed as I've been into patterns recently & at least the fungi weren't flitting by rapidly like the butterflies. The extra is a compilation of some insects - a ringlet, a skipper & a hoverfly - which I managed to catch on knapweed on the way back to the car.
