The golden headphone plug

It came with a set of Sennheiser headphones that I bought.  But it turned out to be a poor fit. That's gold for you all flash, but not always utilitarian. I wonder how they make such things. I have no conception of it. We are clever people. Maybe saving our planet isn't beyond us.
