This day

in 1905 my Mam was born.Hard to believe 116 years ago.
The Birthday card was sent to her in 1944 from her sister Lille.
The King George V1 stamp cost 1 Penny and arrived the next day. ;)
I'm guessing the photo of Mam was when she was in her early twenties.
She didn't like having her photo taken.
I caught the bus at 9 o'clock to the Cemetery.
On the way back the driver told me off for getting up before the bus stopped.
I was taken aback and could have said its been known to go past the stop if you dont.
I think he was in a strop because the bus was full.
He'll be used to them up and down empty.
Beautiful sunny day so I'm off into the garden to sit awhile :)
