sunflower saturday!

Scorchio!! It's a hot one here in south east essex, and the first sunflower has opened up to show off today!  Had to water my pots this morning and think I'll be doing the same again this evening as it's just been a day of blue skies and blistering heat!  And lots of large white butterflies fluttering about!!

But I've been productive - got gardening done first thing when it was cooler, and then have stayed in the shade during the afternoon to catch up on some reading which has made the day fly by!  Think I might have to repeat my plans again tomorrow, when it's due to be even hotter!!
