At Home

Oh my goodness this really does feel like summer, another day of high temperatures and sunshine. I’m not really geared up for this sort of weather- my wardrobe favours colder climes.

This was the first day since David and Luca moved into their new house that they felt it was Covid safe enough to have me and daughter#2 visit and see the transformation they have made to their new home.
We sat outside and quaffed Prosecco and consumed an unseemly number of cheesy nibbles that Luca had made. I quaffed so much that it was a minor miracle that I made the walk home without finding myself in too many hedges en route.

It was a lovely afternoon , the kind that stays in one’s memory in the darkest of winter days .
