Park trip

The gang (everyone aside from me) walked to our local country park this morning for ice-cream and a play in the park.  They bumped into a friend from school which was very nice for the boys. 

The husband had to attend an on-line wake this afternoon for a school friend, it was bitter sweet remembering a friend, whilst also coming to terms with the fact it was a school friend who had died., 

Afternoon pottering in the sun and enjoying the good weather. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Night-time visit from the. youngest who arrived in our bed and declared 'he had chosen to come and have a huggle'
Early morning run with the dog, we had a great time 
The eldest offering to wash up after dinner - and doing it really quite well! 
And (fourth one today), evening chat with my cousin who has a lot to cope with at the moment.
