Blooming Color
“The quick blooming colors of the [Dinner Plate Hibiscus] invite us to move beyond the pressures of time. Whether we are surrounded by the constant motion of the city, or in the midst of a bare branch season, we still have the choice to pause and be here, in this moment, with these blooms.”
The quote is adapted from an Image Inspiration by Richard Rhor, who actually based his meditation on a Saucer Magnolia, but none of the Magnolia trees around here are in bloom. However, this Hibiscus flower was the size of a plate, so I substituted it! I found it inspiring anyway!
