From Rose Street...

...to a rose window :)

Dedication service in the new building today...lots of buzz and excitement! Particularly in the baby crèche where there was space for baby crawling and buggy parking :)

As we had a one:one baby:adult ratio at the start and the room we were in was to the back of the gallery we decided to take a nosy...wow! I hadn't been to take a look at the main church when I arrived (though got quite excited just walking into the main foyer!) so to walk in from where we were and to be hit by a beautiful new church full of excited people was wonderful :) later discovered there was 930 people there!

I think what has been great is that the focus is not just on the building...but what the building will allow us to do as a church. The whole thing has seemed really Christ-centred...which is exciting to be a tiny part of! Very exciting to hear about the plans over lunch (which is what is going on in this picture)

The remainder of the day had REST written all over it. Much needed :) Incredibly thankful for the way God has sustained me over the past few days...and the opportunity for rest today :)
