Jelappy
Lovely day as a family although it has gone way too fast! How is it almost 11pm already!?!!
Gave my husband a lie in this morning whilst Audrey and I caught up on Corrie and generally mucked about in our pyjamas downstairs.
Once we were all up, washed and dressed, we caught the tram into Manchester (with half of Chorlton's Irish Community as it was St Patrick's Day) for lunch at my husband's new place. We had booked in my maiden name as he wanted to arrive incognito and do a 'spot check' on the place. I didn't mind as it meant a free lunch which is never a bad thing.
My sister Jo caught the train in and joined us. She has missed Audrey so it was a chance for them to do some Auntie/Niece bonding - see pic which shows Audrey spotting me through some reeded glass in the restaurant after Jo had taken her for a walkabout. So cute.
Had a good chat with Jo about her future move up North into a shared house in Didsbury. She's doing everything I wish I'd done ten years ago (before I moved North and met my husband) and I told her I can't help but feel envious, yet unbelievably happy for her at the same time. Jealous and happy, strange emotions when combined. We decided there should be a word for it but I couldn't think of one at the time.
Later, back at home I sent her a text. " I'm Jelappy for you" it said...
