Grey Heron

The young one flew over to the clearing as I arrived. She got all her fish apart from a couple of bits that the magpie snatched. She is definitely more wary of people walking along the  footpath and retreats into the Irises until they have passed. I am pleased to see this but don't even want to think about what brought this on.
