Time warp!

I took this picture on Saturday but I'm writing this on Monday evening as we had a manic weekend, for some insane reason deciding to finish clearing the reeds out of the pond and cutting the hedges on the two hottest days of the year.

I was hoping to get a nice shot of a butterfly, as the Big Butterfly Count is now running from the 16th July to the 8th August, but they were way too fast. As you can see from this, my action shots need a little practice!

By Sunday night, I was very tempted to see if I could fit in the birdbath, too!
