Acrobatic Peacock.

This lovely creature has spent most of today fluttering around the garden, feeding on the Buddleia and sunbathing (is that what they are doing?) on the stone in the garden. I love the way it has its leg outstretched to the little flower, maybe it's a bit like climbing - always have three points of contact or something. In fact, looking at the many shots I took of htis butterfly it looks to only have 4 legs - do they hide 2 or is this one a bit lacking in the leg department?
A busy day yesterday which I suddenly got to the end of and realised no Blip! I tried to take pictures of the moon - very unsuccessfully so gave up. We had entertained for the first time in a long time and were still sitting out in the garden at 11pm - how wonderful.
