Lock Down
So ... THEY do tell us that at 6 pm tonight we go into the strictest of strict lock-downs for one week. No going out (thank goodness, we don't like it when they go out), gyms and all the shops are closed except the supermarkets, and for some inexplicable reason pubs and bottle shops. Like - can't they manage without alcohol for a single week? And the schools are closed too, which probably means that next doors will squeal all day.
Upon which news, SHE did go belting out this morning for some emergency rations - her, and the rest of the town, by all accounts. BUT she did get the last two packets of doggy chicken at Woollies, and she did say that the queue for the checkout was the longest she had ever seen, and probably qualified for the Guinness Book of Records.
SHE reckoned she was lucky, on account of she needed hardly anything except food for us doggles and Raj - which is, of course, the most important food in the whole world.
HE did tell us, as a sort of secret, that she always has a pantry full and could probably survive a 6-week siege with the greatest of ease.
And we did cuddle up on this chair and looked cute, whereupon she got her camera out and tried to take a picture, but the flash wouldn't work, and that's because she had it on full auto, and then we got bored, but then he did sneeze the loudest sneeze you ever heard, and made us look perky, so she took a picture and this is it.
