I'm Feeling Lucky
Most working folk hate Mondays. I don't, as I only have one lesson. That means I get to have a lie in, stoat aboot in ma boxers, play a bit of Nintendo and surf blip uninterrupted before I even have to think about going in to work.
I used the extra time I had to see if could get a decent picture. There's an odd little park area reasonably near my house. Well, I say park, but it's just a bit of grass that separates two busy roads. During the harsh daylight hours, you'll find a few Indian workers sleeping under the shade of the palm trees. In the rising humidity of the evening, young Omani boys play football. At around noon today, there was a Scottish bloke crouching down amongst the exotic looking flowers trying out his newly acquired Sigma 105mm macro lens.
Most of the photos I took were of the colourfully exotic flowers sprouting out all over the place. However, this little waspy thing was quite happy flying in front of me and was very patient as I struggled with the manual focus on the lens. It was almost as if he was waiting for me to get a good shot and as such, it would have been rude not to blip him.
