Hang On!

There is something comical about this snail. It was out climbing in my asparagus this morning. It reminds me of that old poster of the kitty hanging from a tree limb with just it's front claws, although not as cute. I took it's photo then promptly sent it flying to another location. At least I didn't feed it to the chickens. We have a snail explosion here and the ones on my beans do get scraped into a container and the chickens are very pleased with their treats....
Another critter seen today were a couple of praying mantises. They were about an inch long. I love those guys. They are like little aliens. I only saw them because they were moving. They are the exact shade of the grass. So that is my extra.
