My partner, Dan loves to find treasure at the dump. Finally the free room at the dump is open again. Dan poked his head in there yesterday and was dumbfounded to find this amazing cast iron skillet. The number on the back led us to find out that it was made about 70 years ago.
We love our cast iron skillets and have never seen a square one with a glass lid to boot. The perfect bacon skillet soon to be tried out!
Dan did some searches on the internet to see what they are worth now and with this glass lid it was running around $300.00. Not too bad for the free room.
