The late evening sun was lighting up the large patch of grasses while in the distance mist was starting to obscure the Pentlands.   The morning’s Haar sea mist kept the temperature cool and then a reasonable level until it had cleared by early afternoon when it became hot and sunny and reached 25c. Even when I took this photo at 9pm it was still 18c which was very pleasant but friends in the south were saying that they had energy sapping temperatures of 30c or more. Now the haar is swirling around like smoke and at times I can’t see the  houses 200 metres away.
