Running again!
Following the flare up of osteo-arthritis in my knee three months ago, I haven't been running since. Over the past few weeks, thanks to a great chiropracter, and plenty of careful exercise, it has been strengthening well. With a knee full of Rock Tape, I ran along the edge of the Lake to Cat Gill, walked up Cat Gill to the top of Walla Crag, ran to the "bump" on route to Bleaberry fell, then ran back across Walla Crag and home. 8 miles and felt fabulous doing it again.
Patience was a struggle, but worth it in the end to get running up the hills again.
The panorama from the top of Walla Crag showing a very calm Derwentwater. Shot as a stitched panorama on my Lumix (which fits in a bum bag when I'm running)
