Lunch date

Met up with this group today for a sandwich and homemade peach ice cream. We did not eat out but gave up our inside table to sit here to talk for a while longer. There was a fan moving the 90F air around so it was not too bad.

These ladies went to high school with me. The first two on each side were actually in my home room in the 5th grade when I started school here in South Carolina after moving from Pennsylvania. Two of them were a year ahead and one a year behind but we knew each other. There were three who could not make it today.

There is always next month! We already have a restaurant picked to visit. A bit of a drive but we like eating at the small local places.

It is not about the eating...it is about being together!
