A Diva at the doctors

Raspberry is fine, I'm exhausted and have a stress headache. We were at the vets from 11 to almost 1, long wait, lovely vet. Raspberry has a urinary tract infection...or does she? She was straining this morning, with a tiny urine output. We went, waited, she fussed and ranted glowered , growled(self protective only) and found herself liking the vet, then remembering she didn't. She put up too much of a fuss for them to attempt a urine sample, so the vet really had no way of knowing if the trouble was just Raspberry cat stress or bacterial. She prescribed some antibiotics and said if she improves within a few day it's most probably her own cat stress. If it's bacterial it will be longer and she might be uncomfortable for a bit.

We made it home(4 minute drive) she ate, had a pill and then promptly went to her box and had a lovely near normal trip with a good output. I have an email in to the vet asking if we should continue the $36 pills...$110 total, I just hope she keeps going normally. Last night she was very upset and stressed by something only she could see in the dark hallway...

Blaze is back from his winter underground. He was going to be my blip until the vet trip photos. He may be a quite unhappy chipmunk tomorrow!! Moree snow coming!!
