Adult frog

In the winter the soil is sometimes too wet for weeding without wasting soil so I often put weedy clumps of clay inside old compost bags and leave the bags covered up in a dark area on the side of my shed until the weeds and weed seeds have died and it's safe to reuse the (often wormy by then) soil.

As I was pouring out the contents of a bag today, this adult frog jumped out of it. I have no idea how he managed to make it into the bag in the first place!

Always great to see happy healthy adult frogs on the plot.
