Pooley Bridge - it's good to be local.

Our swim and Tonic group met at Pooley Bridge car park, the one near the steamers.
It was a glorious evening, the water was 20+ degrees and we all swam in our swimsuits rather than our wetsuits. I was able to add 1.104 km to my Swim 22 for diabetes UK.
Afterwards we walked into Pooley Bridge. One shop had ran out of ice cream and all their 'eating in' seats were full. However, there was a tiny shop, with a tiny door. Inside it was an Aladins cave with a huge stock off gins, tonic and glasses, as well as the normal stuff you'd find in a mini market. (link to online shop above in blue). We picked up, ice creams, hot drinks and tray bakes. The cashier noticed we were local (must have been Liz's accent!) He asked if we wanted to use the fenced off seating area at the side of the shop to enjoy our refreshments. We took him up on his offer, much to the disgust of the holiday makers.
It's been such a pleasant evening it feels like we are on holiday. Thanks Caroline for help with the photos.
