On a roll

This afternoon we went over to Hindringham Hall.  It’s very nice moated country house a few miles from here, and the owners open the gardens to the public a couple of times a week through the summer.  An attractive walk through the gardens and the adjacent mediaeval fish ponds which have been restored, and which were originally built to supply fish to the Bishops of Norwich.

These rollers next to the house caught my eye; I’ve added an extra of the house itself, taken from across the moat.
