I'm not at all sure how we managed to complete a full circuit of Dunorlan Park between torrential downpours without getting wet, but we did. I know that we sat in cars in the car park on arrival waiting for the first deluge to ease up a bit, but the fact that the next one kicked off the moment we had arrived at the café at the end of our walk was just too flukey. We tend to put that kind of thing down to Jayne's presence, she has a remarkable way with weather.
Be that as it may, Dunorlan Park is a delight, with a “Grecian temple” a rather lovely vista, ubiquitous focal-point fountain and a rather surprising wooden dragon emerging from the earth.
