Bee on Borage
We have breakfast on the Wirral with Daniel and Solveig, then drive down to Amersham to have lunch with Simon and Lloyd. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday - though it would obviously be wonderful if all six of us were actually together.
We’re staying in The Crown which is delightful, and whilst Atul Kotchar’s Indian restaurant here - Hawkyns - may not seem in keeping with the old coaching inn, the food is delicious.
We walk aroundthe achingly pretty old town. It’s full of glorious properties and floral displays which provide many blippertunities, before heading back to The Crown for a drink.
Simon and Lloyd head back into London leaving us to get over the journey and, in my case, catch up with my journal. Apologies for getting behind, and for the rather short or non-existent comments. I’ve tried hard to catch up, but I think quality of response may well have suffered!
At the risk of being boring, today’s main is another bee - this time a rather bedraggled specimen on borage. Extras are of the boys and G, plus a floral collage.
