Small Pairs Ovipositing Finals

Your intrepid reporter had to take to the lake today to cover the much-awaited Small Pairs Ovipositing competition.  The Bluets were standouts in this event, never disengaging even when a large kayak drifted too close to their lily pad.  No, these seasoned athletes merely glided to a new location, never breaking contact.  Consummate professionals, these two!  

We also caught up with Team Mallard who were enjoying a nice salad at the cantina (Extra).  They were playing it cool with regards to whether they'll be in the Dabbling events later in the Games.  I am starting to suspect that they are just at the AOG for the food and have no intention of dabbling...

Team Blue Jay and Team Chipmunk were in the Home Arena working on their Peanut Caching moves.  In addition, Team Chippie is entering several members in the Peanut-shucking contest.  Stay tuned!

So, as you may have guessed, I went for a paddle this morning.  It was hot and humid, but a thin cloud cover and a nice breeze kept it from being yucky.  And it was nice to get out and paddle for a while before drifting through the lily pads.
