So much weather!

First day of L’s summer holidays and she wanted to go to the sandy beach. Despite the weather forecast we headed to Dymchurch.

We sat in the car and sat out two rain showers (monsoon style) and sat in a little tearoom for lunch instead of fish and chips on the beach. But in between all that we had a great play and a paddle on the beach. It’s always fun down there, whatever the weather.

The tide came in this afternoon, right up to the sea wall and these sea gulls found a good place to watch the waves from.

This evening N had a virtual meeting with his family and the vicar to talk about his dad’s funeral next week. They were all together at his Mum’s house and he joined them via WhatsApp video call. He says it was a good meeting.
