1964

The theme for today's Mono Monday hosted by laurie54 is 'Back to the 60s'.  Being of a grand age I have memories and souvenirs from that era.  The Beatles were, of course, big then and in 1964 I splashed out the large amount of 9s 6d (today's price on Amazon, £9.59, hardback 2014 edition) for John Lennon's book In His Own Write.  To be honest in those days I think I preferred The Rolling Stones to The Beatles, but I felt John was the 'cool' one.  As an aside, we watched the film Yesterday a couple of days back, it's very good!

In other news: I spent quite a chunk of the afternoon on a WRAP trustee Zoom meeting.
